Lucy had major surgery to remove an enormous tumour from her liver back in February. Lucy stayed in hospital overnight to recover and the next day she was discharged. At her 10 day re visit appointment to remove the stitches she was full of life and the wound looked great. Lucy has responded amazingly to treatment. now, she is 13 years old going on 3! She has a new lease on life and it's so fantastic to see.
We have since received great news from the biopsy results that despite being very large tumour that had ruptured and bled internally, it is benign and her long term prognosis is very good!
Here she is having a great time on the beach - just like a puppy again! Go Lucy!
